Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

These made-to-measure shades also come with a colour-coordinated metal headrail and bottom rail that matches the fabric. Recommendations and Limitations

  • Back side of shade is white.
  • Inside mount: 1/4" headrail deduction and 3/8" fabric deduction taken at the factory. No deductions to headrail or fabric on outside mount.
  • Spacer blocks, extension brackets, hold down brackets, and side mount brackets are not available.
  • No-drill Headrail is only available in the colour white.
  • No-drill headrail option is only available for inside mount.
  • No-drill headrail max width: 84”. Max height: 84”. 2 1/8" of depth to install required.  
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.

Maybe it was partly me but the size and colour were exactly spot on! That doesn't seem to ever happen when buying blinds. Easy to install. Customer service was excellent!

The blinds are great! I love them. The only suggestion I would have is to update the instructions as the instructions that came with my blinds did not include the same hardware as the instructions showed so I had to do some digging on YouTube to find out how to attach my blinds with the hardware included
